Book Title:

The Presence of God.

Introduction

A Birthday Never Forgotten.

How many people celebrate your birth? When a prince is born, there is usually a big national celebration. But when a child is born into a poor family, little or no celebration may take place. Yet, children of humble origin have often become national heroes whose birthdays continue to be celebrated long after their deaths. However, there is only one Person whose birthday is still celebrated more than 2,000 years after the event-and He was born in a stable! Because his presence made a difference on earth and on heaven and in our hearts.

Christ - No Social Reformer.

A Brahmin once said to a Christian missionary in India, "There are many things which Christianity and Hinduism have in common. But one thing Christianity has that is not found in Hinduism."

"What is that?" asked the missionary.

The Brahmin's answer was, "We do not have a Saviour."

He was right. Christianity is different in that Christ did not come as a social or economic reformer but as a Saviour of individuals. God came to earth, not to change the adverse conditions under which men live but to change the sinful hearts responsible for such evil in the world.

For many years something was burnings in my bones and I became as if I was drunk with it and it took me captive to not just to feel but to be in his presence all the time. This is not just a book I wrote but it is my life and story and song every day
