Introduction

For many years people have asked me “who is God?” Their concern is the God of the Old Testament who seems to be one who kills and sends sickness, illness, and virus. They say He sends earthquakes, evil spirits and many other problems into the world.

Others have asked me, “Why did God command Joshua to wipe out all the cities and kill people?” They cannot understand that a loving God could do these things.

By the grace of God I have tried to answer all these difficult questions by telling them who is our God and explaining His nature. By first understanding His Nature you will then grow in understanding of the Word of God.

We need to understand that God gave some the laws in the Old Testament, like the Ten Commandments and other laws were given by Moses.

Joh 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and the true way of life are ours through Jesus Christ.
