Introduction

Doctrine or faith is the vein that feeds the heart of Christianity. It is important to know who and what we believe in. That is why Paul said to Timothy: Remembering the genuine faith that is in you.

We are believers in the Christian faith. We must constantly declare our faith. The early church persevered in teaching the faith of the apostles. History testifies that the church throughout the ages used and repeated the creed.

The importance of having the right faith or knowing what we believe.

• It gives us a good conscience.

• It distinguishes us from others in terms of concepts, behaviour, belief and purpose.

• It helps us to do the divine will of God

• It unites us as members of the body of Christ.

• It sends us to preach, serve, and live our life for the Lord.

• It preserves us from slipping into sin and from falling into old-fashioned delusions and superstitions.

• It Keeps us away from heresies that spread around the world.

• It helps us to arrange spiritual truths in our thoughts, and this helps us to grow in our personalities.

Finally: I would like to present this book as a blessing to promote unity among believers. As a reason to encourage the emergence of new ideas or new beliefs. Our unity is not in what we believe, but in whom we believe. The question of interpretation of some things will remain an issue until the advent of Christ. Let us study the Bible with a humble heart in a spirit of prayer. I have tried to write in a spirit of integrity without being biased towards any imported school or doctrines. I have searched important dictionaries to find out the origin and meaning of theological words. Then I went back and searched the history of the church throughout the ages for the opinion of the respected fathers from every century. In addition I contribute my experience of service for 67 years. I have heard a lot of teaching and learned from many people and I have also discussed what I wrote with men of God in many places around the world. So I put this book in the hands of readers to provide the light on the way.

I offer His truth and uprightness so that we may be assured of walking, with Him. This will help us with every satanic challenge. It will protect us from all the delusions and heresies we are confronted.
